'Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 1' Won't Be In 3-D

Although Warner Bros. announced back in February that both parts of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" would be converted to 3-D, the studio has gone back on that decision.

On Friday (October 8), it was announced that "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" will be released in 2-D. The reason? The 3-D conversion will not be finished in time for its November 19 release date.

"Despite everyone's best efforts, we were unable to convert the film in its entirety and meet the highest standards of quality," the studio revealed in a statement. "We do not want to disappoint fans who have long-anticipated the conclusion of this extraordinary journey, and to that end, we are releasing our film day-and-date on November 19, 2010 as planned. We, in alignment with our filmmakers, believe this is the best course to take in order to ensure that our audiences enjoy the consummate 'Harry Potter' experience."

This news will likely come as a pleasant surprise for fans who are feeling 3-D conversion fatigue — an issue critics and audiences alike have been grumbling about since seemingly last-minute conversions were made to films like "Clash of the Titans."

"Potter" producer David Heyman supported the studio's decision to go with the 2-D version.

"For 10 years, we have worked alongside Alan Horn and the studio, whose priority has always been to preserve the integrity of Jo Rowling's books as we have adapted them to the screen," Heyman said in a statement. "This decision reflects that commitment."
Director David Yates added in the same statement, "This decision, which we completely support, underscores the fact that Warner Bros. has always put quality first."

"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2," however, will be released in both 2-D and 3-D formats on July 15.

Heyman told MTV News earlier this year that the idea of adding the 3-D element excited him. "I am obviously looking forward to some of the battle sequences in the second part," he said. "I am also looking forward to seeing the dragon flying up. I think there's a lot that will be great in 3-D, but to me, where it's really most exciting is just making that world seem much deeper, richer and what that extra dimension gives you."

What do you think of the 2D release? How will it affect how you see the film?

Rihanna Calls Drake The 'Only Person' For 'What's My Name' Remix

Rihanna and Drake's collaboration on the remix of "What's My Name" wasn't one of those studies in industry politics where labels wrangle two stars for the sake of an on-trend hit. Instead, Rihanna personally invited Drake to jump on the track, which is slated to appear as a bonus cut on her upcoming release, Loud.

"She played the record to Drake backstage somewhere to try to get him on a verse," Stargate producer Tor Erik Hermansen, who has worked with the singer on her forthcoming fifth LP, told Billboard magazine. "She's calling me up saying, 'Where are the files?' That's one thing you don't hear often from artists on her level."

The "Only Girl (In the World)" singer explained that she and Drizzy had been attempting to team up for a while and that she wanted Drake's signature swagger for the track.

"Drake is the hottest rapper out right now and we've always been trying to work together," she said. "He's the only person I thought could really understand the melody of the song, and the minute he heard it he said, 'I know exactly what I'm going to do. I love it.' And he did it like three days later."

Both stars have been fairly stingy with details but Rihanna has described the track as "young" and "playful. The now flame-haired songstress has also hinted that she and Drake may take their collaboration to the screen and shoot a video.

As far as the sonic vibe for the rest of Loud, Rihanna has dished that the album will "exude the energy and space I'm in right now. That's what I always try and do with my music. Right now in my life I feel very loud and in charge of my life and I can't wait for everyone to hear the new album. It has such a variety of sounds, but it all makes sense for this album."

Are you eager to finally hear Drake and Rihanna's collaboration? Let us know in the comments!

Pink Says 'Love Is Louder Than Fear'

Pink has never been one to keep her opinions to herself, so it should come as no surprise that she's just recorded a message for Love is Louder, the viral campaign launched by MTV, actress Brittany Snow and the Jed Foundation (with support from DoSomething.org, the Trevor Project, Reach Out, Active Minds and the Ad Council).

And it should also come as no surprise that she comes out swinging in her video, reaching out to not only teens who are bullied, but the bullies themselves too.

"Love is louder than fear; love is louder than ignorance; love is louder than pain; love is louder than anything," Pink says. "If there's any bullies out there that really need to take their anger out on someone, come find me."

Pink is just the latest in an ever-growing list of stars that have lent their support to Love Is Louder. In recent weeks, everyone from "Twilight's" Kellan Lutz to the "Jersey Shore's" Snooki and JWoww have filmed videos for the campaign, started in the wake of the suicide of Rutgers University student Tyler Clementi, who took his own life after his roommate posted footage of a sexual encounter between him and another man online.

Of course, her Love Is Louder message isn't the only reason Pink is making headlines these days. She's just announced that the video for "Raise Your Glass" — a single off her upcoming Greatest Hits ... So Far!!! album — will take place at a gay wedding, an idea inspired by a real-life experience.

"I threw my best friend's wedding in my backyard. [She] is gay, and she married her wife, and it was absolutely beautiful," she told InDemand.fm. "At the end of it, her mom said, 'Why can't this be legal?' and started crying. It was just the most heartbreaking thing I've ever seen, so that's why I'm doing it in my video."

For more information on Love Is Louder, check out the project's Facebook page for more information. You can also upload videos to Your.MTV.com, just like Snow did. You can also keep the conversation going on Twitter by using the hashtag #loveislouder.

Jon Oliver Engaged To Iraq War Veteran

The Daily Show's John Oliver is engaged! Is there anything better than a comedian who's ready to abandon his late night habits of practicing for a Stewart skit by donning the comedy and tragedy masks in the name of marrying his girlfriend of two years? Not really! What if she's an Iraq war veteran? Let the record show that we can't make jokes about John Oliver's teeth anymore.

The lucky woman's name is Kate Norley, whose been dating Oliver for two years. Oliver revealed the engagement this Saturday at Comedy Central's Night of Too Many Stars, a benefit that raises money for autism, but the two have really been engaged since July, when they took a trip to St. Thomas and Oliver commanded she that she risk her life to eat a blowfish to prove she was committed to him. She did because she's been to war, and he was surprised because he's a comedian who warms himself up for a show by making jokes about tie knots.

The two met at the 2008 Republican National Convention (Pluto was apparently starting to question its self worth) that Oliver covered for Stewart and Norley was there to speak about the hardships of war, maybe? Or emasculation techniques? Oliver already seems to be aware of those, as he told People Magazine, "It's the most emasculating thing I could possibly do to go out with someone who has actually done something valuable with their life." Look! He can't even make a joke about his love for her! "She emasculates me" is... I don't know, it's really hard to make jokes about a veteran, especially one that's in love. I feel like they'll come into my apartment and take away the new refrigerator that was just installed and turns my orange juice into a huge orange popsicle. But the comedian part of this equation is so tempting. So let's try and focus on the other side of the equation -- a comedian seduced a veteran! This is so pointless.

Lauren Conrad Is Ready To Return To TV

It’s been just over two months since The Hills left us with a pathetic attempt at a semi-metaphysical conclusion. It really was a pretty terrible ending – to be fair, it’s not like the show could have had any sort of ending that would merit the word “good” – leaving with a big middle finger to loyal fans who allowed themselves to get caught up in all the fabricated drama. (Dear Adam DiVello, your “clever” ending was pretentious and indulgent. Stick to girl-fights and stop trying to be edgy.) With the show’s final breath, it became painstakingly clear that they sorely needed Lauren Conrad and the show should have been put out of its misery from the minute she left. Well, LC fans, get ready to rejoice because it’s time for the California blonde to team up with MTV and give reality TV another shot.

She’s famously said that she’s “over” The Hills, telling Cosmopolitan, "I've always had another season to look forward to, but now life is a little more unplanned. It's really exciting,” and up until recently, she’s been sticking to her story. She’s stayed out of the spotlight, concentrated on her business endeavors, and started dating dudes without constant surveillance or commentary from the peanut gallery, but now she’s jumping back into the reality circuit. So will we see more loser-centric relationship drama? (For such a smart girl, she always dated some serious losers on that show.) LC says no way. She's insisting that the show focus only on her professional life and that her beau, Kyle Howard (My Boys), is left out of it. The show will, however, feature her roommate – oh joy, another chance for some Heidi Montag-brand drama. I hope the girl had finally learned how to avoid living with insane people by this point.

Sure, she’s normal, independently successful, industrious, sweet, and (the cherry on top) not crazy, which in TV-land translates to B-O-R-I-N-G in most cases. However, with all the crazy “reality” and the incessant drug-ridden antics of a handful of other starlets flooding every media outlet, a return to normalcy with Lauren could be exactly what we all need.

Jennifer Aniston Is The Most Eligible Woman In The World

A '60 Minutes' and Vanity Fair poll came to the conclusion that Jennifer Aniston is the most eligible single woman in the world, and forgot to say that the margin of error was +- any of our interest in the poll itself. After winning 29% of the votes, Aniston swiped the title right out of the hands of Halle Berry, Elin Nordegren, Betty White, Lady Gaga, and Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, Elena Kagan. Guess who handled the loss with the least amount of grace.

However, I'm surprised that 29% of the people from somewhere still consider Jennifer Aniston to be an eligible woman, especially since her unsuccessful attempts at staying in a relationship make her more readily classifiable as decidedly IN-eligible and UN-dateable. Consider the men who have helped her weigh the pros and cons of yet another septoplasty: Adam Duritz, Tate Donovan, Brad Pitt, Vince Vaughn, John Mayer, some guy named Josh Hopkins, possibly Gerard Butler, British model Paul Sculfor and maybe Bradley Cooper. It seems like the title of "the most eligible woman in the world" would be better suited for someone who's proven herself actually capable of dating. Also, the term "eligible" implies the person at hand has just been unlucky in love, but is otherwise meant to be in a relationship -- Aniston just doesn't seem like she is, which means she's an unwise choice to take out on a date, which means she's ineligible to take on a date BECAUSE it's unwise, which means she's not the most eligible woman in the world.

Join the fight to give Elena what's hers.

Kim And Kourtney Kardashian Get New NYC-Based Reality Show

They've done L.A. They've done Miami. So, what's left for the enterprising Kardashian clan? Well, now it's time for at least two of the Kardashian sisters, Kim and Kourtney, to make New York City all their own.

Middle sister Kim took to her blog to confirm the latest reality show centered on her family. "It's official! Kourtney and I have moved to NYC to film our brand new show for E! Kourtney and Kim Take New York!!!!" she wrote. "I could not be more excited to spend the next couple of months in one of my favorite cities! When we decided to open a new DASH store in the city, Kourt and I felt that someone needed to be here to help out with the store and make sure everything was running smoothly. After talking with my family, I decided that I would join Kourtney, [Kourtney's boyfriend] Scott [Disick] and [their son] Mason in NYC.

"Not only do I get to spend some quality time with Kourt, I also get to hang out with Masey as much as I want. I can't imagine being away from him for so long!" Kim continued. "We'll be filming the show over the next couple of months and capturing all the fun and drama that will no doubt unfold along the way. Get ready NYC ... Kim and Kourtney are in town!!!"

Similarly, older sister Kourtney blogged about moving their hectic life to the Big Apple. "Mason, Kim, Scott and I arrived in NYC," she wrote. "So excited for some fall in the Big Apple. No place better."

Taylor Swift Previews 'Speak Now'

Taylor Swift has graduated from writing lyrics about boys on the football team to penning songs about guys getting married. The country singer released the title track from her forthcoming album Speak Now on Tuesday morning, and in the song, she sings from the perspective of a woman whose former lover is on the verge of walking down the aisle.

Swift isn't angry with this guy, who just might be inspired by someone she knows. In fact, she's still very much in love with him and wants to make sure he doesn't marry the wrong girl.

"I am not the kind of girl who should be rudely barging in on a white affair occasion," she sings. "But you are not the kind of boy who should be marrying the wrong girl."

Soon, the wedding-crashing Swift is pleading to her ex to forgo the "I do"s and run away with her. "Don't say it. Let's run away now. I'll meet you when you're out of the church at the back door," she croons in the chorus. "Don't wait to say a single vow. You need to hear me out and you say speak now."

As the song progresses, we learn a lot about the bride, who wears poofy wedding gowns, has a very stuffy-seeming family and (perhaps justifiably) hates Swift. In the bridge, Swift sings, "Horrified looks from everyone in the room, but I'm only looking at you," before echoing the song's opening pleas. "I am not the kind of girl who should be rudely barging in on a white affair occasion," she says. "But you are not the kind of boy who should be marrying the wrong girl."

Listeners aren't left hanging to find out who Swift's target ends up with. In a narrative twist that echoes earlier Swift tracks like "Love Story" and "You Belong With Me," she gets the guy: "And you say, 'Let's run away now. I'll meet you when I'm out of my tux at the back door. Baby, I didn't say a vow. So glad you were around when they said, "Speak Now."'

Austin Brown: Nephew of Michael Jackson, Future Star

Austin Brown, a nephew of Michael Jackson and son of MJ's sister Rebbie Jackson, is looking to carry on the family legacy with his debut album 85. The California native plays guitar, keyboards, bass and drums, all at the age of 24.

Here's a little background on the King of Pop's nephew, via People ...

Wanting to improve his life performances, Brown started taking gymnastics. "I told [producer] Rodney [Jerkins], 'I'm going to flip.' He was like, 'You're out of your mind.' So I started taking footage of it and I was like, 'Look I can do a back flip.' "

Aunt Janet Jackson "is the person that I talk to the most in my family," he says. "She knows everything about me. If I couldn't tell my mom, I would tell her. She would take drives with me and talk to me like I was a normal person."

"When you're a kid it's cool to talk to a relative who doesn't look at you like a kid. She took the time to spend with me and be a support system. I would call her about problems at school and she would give me sound advice. She's a great listener."

Raiding the CDs of older sisters Stacy and Yashi, "I would listen to their music like Depeche Mode, Eurythmics, Billy Idol and Tears for Fears, who I loved."

He'd love for Rihanna to remake "Centipede," a hit for his mom Rebbie, written by Michael. [MJ] told me it was one of his favorite songs that he ever worked on," Brown reflects. "I wish somebody would redo it, like Rihanna."

He's working with acclaimed producer Rodney Jerkins (who has worked with Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga and others) on his new material.

Kanye West on SNL: A Power Performance

If you watch only one video from this weekend's Saturday Night Live, make it the Miley Cyrus Show. If you watch another, make it Kanye West's performance of "Power."

Taylor Swift incidents and Twitter rants aside, Kanye is an artiste, a groundbreaking one who will not shy away from challenges and isn't afraid to take chances musically.

Breaking 36 seasons of SNL convention, he changed the signature black, instrument filled stage to an all white, backlit canvas. Check out his effort below, it's worth it ...

Happy 21st Birthday, Karissa and Kristina Shannon!

Playboy model / sex tape star Karissa Shannon celebrated her 21st birthday yesterday with a champagne-soaked party in NYC. The co-guest of honor at the bash?

Twin sister Kristina Shannon, of course!

Karissa looked so delighted when boyfriend Sam Jones III gave a pair of Louboutins which cost $1,495 - he forgot to take the price tag off, what are the odds?

Karissa Shannon turned 21 last night, as did Kristina Shannon. Sam Jones III? He was just there for the photo ops. [Photos: PacificCoastNewsOnline.com]

With proceeds from the Karissa Shannon sex tape, Sam can afford all sorts of fancy gifts for his girl, who became a D-list name in 2008, thanks to Hugh Hefner.

The twins were two of Hef's three hoes for a bit. Yet despite the "girlfriend" status, Karissa claims the relationship was "more for fun" and the chance to be on TV.

Wow, you mean a couple of 19-year-old twins weren't just itching for the chance to double-team an octogenarian? Shocker. Anyway, happy birthday girls!

Did Britney Spears Get New Tattoos?

Global pop music icon and Glee guest star Britney Spears made her way out of a local Toys-R-Us yesterday with loads of merchandise and BF Jason Trawick in tow.

In addition to the toys she got for Sean Preston and Jayden James and their nannies to play with, Britney showed off some hot new tattoos (maybe) on her neck.

Perhaps they're stickers of some kind, or tats of the temporary variety. Honestly, you never know what to expect from a girl who supposedly fears all strangers ...

Are those a handful of new tattoos on Britney Spears? Any idea what they are, if so? And can you believe she's wearing a bra for a change? Discuss

Saturday Night Live Presents: The Miley Cyrus Show!

We heart you, Saturday Night Live.

On this weekend's installment, new cast member Vanessa Bayer took on her first lead in a sketch, doing an outstanding job mocking Miley Cyrus, while host Bryan Cranston played father Billy Ray.

You've, like, gotta, like, watch this, like, impression, as Bayer parodies Miley's numerous statements about how, like, she's a serious actress. Like, check it out below...

Duane Chapman (Dog the Bounty Hunter) Injured

Duane Chapman, a.k.a. Dog the Bounty Hunter, was rushed to UCLA Medical Center this weekend due to the extreme pain in his left leg, according to reports.

A source close to the reality star and real-life fugitive hunter says that he may have a blood clot behind his knee, an injury stemming from kicking in a door.

His muscle separated from the bone and caused internal bleeding, sources report. The injury grew worse as Dog has been traveling during the past week.

On Thursday, Dog and his wife Beth were seen having lunch in Malibu, where Dog appeared to be happy and healthy as he sat with his arms around Beth.

But by Saturday, the injured muscle was so inflamed that Dog needed to go to the emergency room. He will return to the hospital for more treatment.

Dog and Beth, who live in Honolulu, have been in Los Angeles for several TV and radio appearances promoting the seventh season of their hit show.

Ray J: Dancing With the Stars Correspondent

R&B singer and Kim Kardashian sex tape co-star Ray J has signed a deal to become a special correspondent on Extra, covering ABC's Dancing With the Stars this fall.

"He's doing it because he really loves the show and wants to support Brandy's effort to win," his rep tells Us. Talk about your biased celebrity gossip reporting.

Ray's sister is considered among the favorites in the 11th season along with Jennifer Grey. Will a stage presence from her sibling help propel her over the top?

Ray will make his debut on DWTS Monday. He will interview the show's contestants - including his sister, Audrina Patridge and The Situation - for Extra Tuesday.

He replaces Vienna Girardi, who held the correspondent's role last season.

Khloe Kardashian Fears Weight Gain, Motherhood

Khloe Kardashian is not pregnant. In fact, despite what the tabloids may scream on their covers, no one in this attention-starved family is knocked up.

Still, Khloe has made it clear she wants a baby... as long as God is down with that, and as long as it doesn't interfere with her goal of becoming skinnier than most science class skeletons.

Speaking to Us Weekly last week, Kardashian outlined the three reasons why she's afraid to be pregnant. They included:

"I'm scared of gaining weight and not being able to lose it after."

"I'm scared of the epidural needle in my back!"

"Mason is so good, he never cries! I don't think that could happen twice in the family!"

In other words: Khloe is afraid of what a pregnancy would do to her body; of the pain of child birth; and of having a well-behaved child. That makes her... just like every other potential mother on the planet.

Mario Cites Mother's Drug Addiction as Basis for Assault Arrest

Late last week, R&B singer Mario was arrested for assault against his mother.

With his client free on bail, the artist's attorney spoke on the incident over the weekend and acknowledged that a confrontation took place. But he cited the drug history of Mario's mom (Shawntia Hardaway) as its basis.

"Anyone who has waged the battle to save loved ones from the forces of drugs knows the irrational behavior that almost always accompanies their actions," said Hassan Murphy. "Despite the allegations, Mario remains committed to supporting his mother."
Police responded to Hardaway's call on Friday and found an apartment in disarray. They booked her son on charges of second degree assault after Shawntia accused him of pushing her in the chest.

Murphy referred to this "unfortunate incident between a loving son and a mother" as something that happens when one side struggles "with a devastating addiction."

The singer's strained relationship with his mother was the topic of an award-winning TV documentary in 2007. Titled "I Won't Love You to Death: The Story of Mario and His Mom," it chronicled Mario's attempts to help his heroin-addicted relative.

Britney Spears Working on New Album (Really)

If you thought Britney Spears did nothing but spin by the mall, go to Starbucks, get new tattoos and make pit stops at area gas stations ... you'd be right. Mostly.

According to reports, the star has actually made progress on a new album, which would be her first since the smash hit Circus came out nearly two years ago.

Three songs are done and she loves them. Spears has also gotten a really positive reaction to her recent appearance on Glee, which has led to similar offers.
HIT THE STUDIO, Y'ALL: Somehow, Britney squeezes recording sessions in between her obligatory Starbucks runs. We can't wait to hear the results of those trips.

No word yet on when the new album will come out, but hey, it's pretty much a given that we'll actually hear this someday ... unlike Amy Winehouse's "upcoming" effort.

Kanye West Returns To 'Saturday Night Live'

Before Kanye West appeared on the October 2 episode of "Saturday Night Live", the outspoken MC tweeted "25 Minutes to dress rehearsal ... Just saw [executive producer] Lorne Michaels ... uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum .... Akwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaard LOL!"

Awkward indeed, especially considering the superstar MC's single "Power" unfavorably name-checks the sketch comedy show with the line "F--- 'SNL' and the whole cast. Tell 'em Yeezy said they can kiss my whole ass." Even though 'Ye seemed a little heated at the "SNL" crew, which took a few jabs at the Taylor Swift 2009 VMA business, that didn't stop 'Ye from not only performing the song but transforming the signature "SNL" stage setup as well.

On Saturday's live broadcast-- hosted by Emmy-winning "Breaking Bad" star Bryan Cranston with guest spots for Morgan Freeman and Ernest Borgnine-- West kicked off his appearance with "Power." Instead of rocking from the show's famed Grand Central Terminal-themed set, 'Ye began the song atop a set of stairs with a completely white backdrop. Pale sheer sheets covered scores of clapping dancers as Yeezy spit the opening bars in a fire-engine red suit, with several gold chains swinging from his neck and a headpiece of gilded laurel resting on his dome. The sheets were pulled off the dancers as the first chorus dropped to reveal women of several hues grooving in white leotards in a live recreation of the "moving painting" visual that accompanies the track.

At the beginning of the second verse, West and his company of dancers dropped to the ground as he rattled off revamped lyrics including, "I'm killin' this, I know damn well y'all feelin' this." Near the close of the performance, 'Ye ascended the stairs and the dancers stood perfectly still until the MC bounded down the steps once again, fell to his knees and yelped "Now this will be a beautiful death!" Then taking another cue from the video, West returned to the steps, donned the laurel once again, gazed out unto the crowd and hung his head as two dancers on either side struck Grecian-inspired poses on white pedestals.

For Yeezy's second performance, the Chicago MC revisited the theme and tone of his 2010 VMA performance, once again launching into the track-opening notes of "Runaway" by tapping an MPC resting on a pedestal. However, instead of three ballet dancers, over a dozen women sporting tutus held classic ballet poses in the shadows until Yeezy rocked the first few lines. After hitting several more poses in-sync with the midtempo rhythm, the ladies ambled off the set and then 'Ye worked the stage solo, emphatically saluting "douche bags" and "scumbags." When 'Ye retreated to the MPC once again, another dancer popped up for a graceful arabesque that heralded Pusha T's appearance, who ripped the stage in a white button-down shirt and blazer. The dancers joined West once again to close the performance as he dropped the remaining bars, his vocals twisted by his favored Auto-Tune effect. He wrapped up the performance with a simple bow but when the cast returned for the farewell at the end of the show, 'Ye signed off for the night once again rocking his gilded crown.

Lil Wayne's Ex-Wife, Toya, 'Excited' For His Return

With Lil Wayne expected to wrap up his jail bid on November 4, the countdown to the megastar MC's return from Rikers is in full swing. Of course his legions of fans and his Young Money crew miss the superstar spitter, but few are pining for Weezy more than one very special lady in his life: his daughter Reginae.

Wayne's ex-wife, Antonia "Toya" Carter, told MTV News on the BET Hip-Hop Awards red carpet Saturday that she and her daughter with Weezy are amped for the powerhouse lyricist's release next month.

"It's very exciting," Carter smiled. "Especially when you have a little girl that's anticipating his return. We're looking forward to that. It's very exciting."

Wayne's incarceration has been tough on his tween daughter, who had to deal with the many false starts of his sentence earlier this year, which had been delayed due to dental work and a courthouse blaze.

"The last day he finally went in, we didn't go, so my daughter was like, 'I wish I would've went.' It was just too much. I just didn't want to let her see that again 'cause both times she took it real hard," Carter told Vibe magazine. "So I was like, I'm not gon' let her go this last time. I'm just gon' make sure he talk to her 'cause I didn't know if he was really gonna go. They kept pushing back."
Yet Weezy urged her to keep her head up for Reginae during the family's difficult period.

"At first my daughter would see me a little sad and you know kids they react off of your feelings sometimes, so he was just like, 'Be strong, make sure you take care of her. Make sure she straight and keep her phone on all the time so I can call her. The time is gonna fly by.' "

Time is almost up and Weezy has recently said that the first thing he plans to do when he's freed, presumably before his blowout homecoming concert, is see his children.

"[I'm going to] hug and kiss my kids," Wayne revealed during a phone call to MTV's "The Seven." "And, uh, after that, I don't think I'm allowed to say."

'Dancing With The Stars' Was 'Such Hell,' Lance Bass Says

Lance Bass competed on "Dancing With the Stars" way back in the fall of 2008, and while he managed to finish in third place (the show's current host, Brooke Burke, won that season), he admits that right now the show is anyone's game. So that means anyone from the Situation to Audrina Patridge to Brandy has a chance of taking home the mirror-ball trophy.

"I haven't watched the last two seasons, but this year, it's on my TiVo, and it's exciting," Bass told MTV News earlier this week at "The Social Network" premiere, where he was supporting his old pal Justin Timberlake. "It's interesting when you know what they're going through."

So, what is it that they might be going through? "It's hell! It's such hell! So you feel for them," he explained. "It's kind of like a little club that everyone has that only they can understand. So, I feel for them."

With a mixed bag of celebrities vying for the big prize this season, which is now going into its third week, it seems that there isn't yet a front-runner in the latest installment of the ballroom-dance drama.

Bass said he loves watching Kyle Massey. "I think he's awesome. He's just such a personality out there," he raved, noting there are a few other standouts, none of whom are known for their turns on MTV reality TV.

"Brandy's doing great. I think Kurt Warner's actually doing really good. Football players, they always surprise. No one's really a leader in my mind, right now. But we got a long way to go."

Shia LaBeouf Says 'Transformers 3' Will Be Best Of The Series

Despite expressing the feeling that he "wasn't impressed" with "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," franchise superstar Shia LaBeouf is pretty sure the third film will be the best of the series.

"This is, and I'm not just BS-ing you, it's the best movie we've made of the three by far," LaBeouf told MTV News recently about "Transformers 3," adding that director Michael Bay showed him 40 minutes of footage that had him feeling extra confident about the final product.

"The script is the best script we've had," LaBeouf said. "The second movie, we were in the middle of a writers' strike, writing on the go," he explained. "The first movie, we had the discovery, and this movie really is the fruition of the rhythm we've created out of five years working together. I'm super proud of this movie."

LaBeouf said there is a sense of finality for him, as the third "Transformers" film will definitely be his last.

"There's no more for me, at least. I'm never going to do it again," he said definitively. "This is the last one, so it's balls-out. This is the best movie we've made, period, and that's a unanimous decision by everybody. The sizzle reel that [Bay] has been showing everybody on set, it's so outrageous. I'm very, very, very, very proud of it."

LaBeouf's co-star Josh Duhamel seems equally enthusiastic about the third film.

"I've seen about 10 minutes of it — just the stuff we shot in Chicago — and it's pretty awesome," he told us recently. "It's all in Michael Bay's head, so you never know what the film's going to turn out like, but judging by the script and what we've shot, it's, I think, every bit as good, if not better than, the first two," he declared.

Do you think "Transformers 3" will be the best of the series? Let us know in the comments!

Nicki Minaj, Jay-Z Big Winners At 2010 BET Hip-Hop Awards

ATLANTANicki Minaj collected enough hardware for herself and a few of her alter egos on Saturday (October 2) as the female lyricist was one of the big winners at the 2010 BET Hip-Hop Awards.

The Lil Wayne protégé scored three trophies overall: Rookie of the Year, People's Champ and the Made You Look award, which was awarded in recognition of her fashion flair.
Decked out in a black dominatrix-like outfit, blond bob hairdo, pink nails and lipstick, Minaj took to the stage to accept her first award and was overcome by the recognition.
"Last year, I was here in anticipation of the cypher," she told the crowd, referring to the artist rap freestyles that run in between the award presentations and performances. "Now I'm here in anticipation of my debut. [Pink Friday, set for release November 23.]
"I'm paving the way for girls," she continued. "I wanna thank all the girls of hip-hop."
Jay-Z, who didn't attend the festivities, also earned three awards. Hov won Perfect Combo (for his Alicia Keys-assisted "Empire State of Mind"), CD of the Year (The Blueprint 3) and Best Live Performer.
Rick Ross picked up two awards: the Miami don's "B.M.F. (Blowin' Money Fast)" earned Track of the Year for producer Lex Luger, and the industrial-strength number nabbed Club Banger of the Year honors.
Ross also delivered one of the night's most memorable onstage moments when he, Diddy and DJ Khaled opened the show with a pyrotechnic-enhanced rendition of his award-winning anthem before easing the Atlanta Civic Center crowd into "MC Hammer."
"Bitch, I'm MC Hammer," Ross rapped. "I'm about cream. I got 30 cars, whole lot of dancers/ I take them everywhere, I'm MC Hammer/ Started selling dough, I'm too legit to quit/ When it's hammer time, I'm pulling out the stick."
MC Hammer himself then appeared onstage, leading a troop of dancers dressed in ensembles honoring the Marines. The veteran superstar performed his hit "2 Legit 2 Quit."
Harlem's Diplomats reunited onstage for the first time since they reconciled over the summer after years of squabbling.
Cam'ron, Jim Jones, Juelz Santana and Freekey Zekey rocked the crowd with their latest offering, "Salute."
Big Boi featuring Yelawolf, Soulja Boy Tell'em, J. Cole, Cali Swag District with Digital Underground, Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame were among the evening's other performers.
B.o.B brought his hometown crowd to its feet with a rousing rendition of his next single, the melancholy "Don't Let Me Fall."
Iconic female trio Salt-N-Pepa were honored with the I Am Hip-Hop award. Diddy (Hustler award), Swizz Beatz (Producer of the Year) and DJ Khaled (Best DJ) rounded out the winners. DJ Premier led a tribute to Guru, the late Gang Starr MC.
Following last year's successful series of cyphers, including Eminem, Mos Def and the Roots' Black Thought locking in together to rhyme, the 2010 BET Hip-Hop Awards featured seven cyphers, from the father and son pairings of Ice Cube and his two boys rhyming with Reverend Run and Diggy and Jojo Simmons to the Rosewood cypher, which featured Kanye West and his G.O.O.D. Music family: Common, Pusha T, Big Sean and CyHi Da Prynce.
The latter collective upped the ante on their freestyle set by sporting black-tie clothing; they even forced Premier to get spiffy.
West drew one of the loudest cheers of any cypher with his array of punch lines.
"Y'all got too many Urkels on your team, that's why y'all win slow," he rapped.
The 2010 BET Hip-Hop Awards, hosted by Mike Epps, is scheduled to air October 12 at 8 p.m. on BET.

Celebrities Line Up to Keep A Child Alive

Katie Holmes, Alicia Keys, Kim Kardashian and others have come out to Keep A Child Alive.

The organization provides care and support to families affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa and India, as readers can get donate $5 to the cause by texting the first names of any of the celebrities participating to 90999.

Keys and husband Swizz Beatz founded the charity. Says the former:

“With the launch of our BUY LIFE campaign, I am confident less people will needlessly have to die because of lack of proper care which means more children will still have parents to raise them and guide them. I’m never more inspired, then when I’m doing this!”

Why Does Oksana Grigorieva Need $20K a Month?

Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva are at odds over everything. Child support for their daughter Lucia is no exception. She just got a huge pay raise, too.

The amount of $20,000 a month (she sought double that) is four times the amount Mel was paying. But why does an 11-month-old possibly need that?

Think about it, it's like a $240,000 salary. Team Oksana says it's more than fair, however, and has a list of reasons why she deserves every cent of it ...

The justification for Oksana's checks, which a judge apparently buys into ...

Being Mel Gibson's daughter, Lucia needs 'round-the-clock security

Woman's in debt over $100,000 and needs to get outta the hole

Oksana Grigorieva says Mel promised to take care of them both

They got "accustomed to the lifestyle" Mel Gibson provided them

A baby costs a lot, with medical costs, food, clothing, gas, etc.

Mmm hmm. Somehow people everywhere make do with a lot less for clothes and food. Just saying. Anyway, for the 100th time, we ask ...

Justin Timberlake And Jimmy Fallon Write 'History Of Rap'

At this point it just feels like Justin Timberlake is teasing us. Following up on the "SNL" skit last weekend, in which he refused to answer questions about when he's going to make another album, Timberlake dropped by Jimmy Fallon's "Late Night" on Wednesday night to talk up "The Social Network" and ended up providing further proof that one of the great music talents of our time is seriously holding out on us.

After Timberlake gave major props to house band the Roots and Fallon teased the bespectacled singer about his historical knowledge of hip-hop, Justin mentioned that 'NSYNC once asked legendary hip-hop crew the Sugarhill Gang to open up one of the boy band's shows back in the day. That inspired Fallon to ask the band (spontaneously, of course) to serve up a taste of Sugarhill's classic "Rapper's Delight."

What ensued was a head-spinning blue-eyed ramble through rap history, as Fallon and Timberlake hopped out of their seats and started trading lines on "Delight" like a suburban basement Run-DMC. Speaking of DMC, they moved into a few lines from that Rock and Roll Hall of fame group's "Peter Piper," easily segueing into a nasally take on the Beastie Boys' "Paul Revere," Digital Underground's "Humpty Dance," Snoop Dogg's "Nuthin' But a G Thang" and Tupac's "California Love."

Then it was back to the East Coast for Notorious B.I.G.'s "Juicy," the Roots' "The Seed 2.0," Eminem's "My Name Is" and Missy Elliott's "Work It." They also threw in snippets of songs by A Tribe Called Quest, T.I. and Rihanna, Kanye West and Soulja Boy, ending with Jay-Z's "Empire State of Mind" as they wandered out into the arm-waving audience. Exhausted, the duo brought it ball back with one more out-of-breath half verse of "Rapper's Delight," setting off yet another instant viral hit from the Fallon studios.

And making us all wonder anew, seriously Justin, when are you going to make another album?

'Jersey Shore' By The Numbers: Pajamas, Punches And Canada

Surely following the hoary example of MTV News' "Jersey Shore by the Numbers," Snooki conducted her own list-based language assessment on Thursday night’s episode. Now we know what that little bundle of poof-haired joy wants, and doesn’t want, in a guy: yes to juiceheads, fist-pumpers and romantical dorks; no to party poopers, fame whores, and smelly people.

Snickers is one smart cookie: she realizes that the only way to understand "Jersey Shore"-style craziness is to put everything into print — hopes, dreams, actions and reactions — and study hard.
We’ve been studying damn hard since the first episode of the season, though, and we’re still a little stumped. Who knew a guy could pick out pre-sex pajamas for his new date before they even go out for the evening? Apparently, the Situation did, and his Canadian gal pal was totally psyched, vowing to make the PJs "look hot."

Nor did we suspect Angelina would really leave the house...a second time...in a thunderstorm of punches, accusations of fakery, and an actual suitcase rather than those memorable trash bags from last season. Yes, for all of the Situation’s international tomfoolery and Snooki’s odes to all things juiceheaded and gorilla-rific, this episode was all about departures.

Angelina's friend left, JWoww’s boyfriend left, and then Angelina left. No one was upset to see the tampon-dropping terror quit once again. She started off fighting with Sitch and went a full three rounds with a pink pantie-wearing Snooki. None of this was a pretty sight, and now Angelina is no more.

Let's pour one out for one of Staten Island’s finest, as we dedicate this week’s "Jersey Shore by the Numbers" to the foul-mouthed honor of our dearly departed castmember.

Justin Timberlake Joins Will Smith And Other Celebs Who Left Their Day Jobs Behind

Eight years ago, you could not watch TV or listen to the radio, without being confronted by Justin Timberlake's blond curls and killer vocal range. After leaving one of the most popular boy bands of all time, he went on to release a solo album, which of course dominated charts and earned him six Grammy Awards. But it was no surprise to anyone who's been paying attention to his career since then that Timberlake told Entertainment Weekly he doesn't feel pressure to return to music anytime soon. With his new film, "The Social Network," being discussed for Best Picture at the Academy Awards, and two Emmy Awards already in his pocket, Justin's acting career might finally be taking off. He's definitely not the first wildly successful musician turned actor. And he brings to mind some other artists who have successfully switched careers midstream.

A surefire example of the musician-turned-actor gone right is Will Smith. Innovative and popular in his rap career, Will took that success and exponentially increased it with his acting career. When he was starting his TV show "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" he explained that he wanted to be "the biggest movie star in the world," and now, he kind of is.

Another rapper turned actor, Mark Wahlberg, had similar luck. He went from bad boy Marky Mark to underwear model to an actor with serious roles and prestigious award nominations.

There are other models who've left behind their mannequin days for speaking roles. Remember when Tyra Banks used to be known as the model on page 28 of latest Victoria's Secret catalog? And before he hung out in "That '70s" basement or "Punk'd" his pals on MTV, Ashton Kutcher could be found working it up and down the runways as a fashion model.
What is it that provokes these changes? Sometimes the need for a lifestyle change could be the answer. We think that's why Lauryn Hill went on hiatus to become a full-time mom until her latest return to the stage.

When they grew up, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen managed to say goodbye to their childhood legacy of mystery books and straight-to-video movies and hello to a fashion career.

But sometimes, as with Arnold Schwarzenegger's career change from the Terminator to governor of California, we can't even tell what inspired celebs to quit their day jobs.

'Glee' Could Have Closed Their Britney Spears Episode With ... Britney Spears!

It's almost like all that Britney Spears stuff didn't go down on Tuesday night's episode of "Glee." As soon as Rachel (Lea Michele) belted out her rendition of Paramore's super awesome tune "The Only Exception," everybody seemed to immediately gravitate toward that unexpected surprise. It was kind of a mindblow after fans sat around for the previous 55 minutes or so completely submerged in all things Britney Spears.

But despite the excellence of "The Only Exception" (and Michele's lovely rendition of it), there were plenty of Britney tunes that could have very easily helped Rachel express her feelings to Finn (Cory Monteith). Here are a few choice Britney tunes that are both adult contemporary-ish (as Mr. Scheuster wanted all along) and emotional.

Much like Rachel, Britney needed her man to give her some emotional support and to verify that he does indeed care for her in "Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know." In the end, Finn's actions spoke louder than his words, but Rachel was sort of the last to know.

Britney's completely heartfelt, Justin Timberlake-inspired ballad "Everytime" really would have ended the episode perfectly. On that In the Zone track, Brit Brit sings: "Everytime I try to fly, I fall/ Without my wings, I feel so small/ I guess I need you, baby/ And every time I see you in my dreams/ I see your face, it's haunting me/ I guess I need you, baby." Need we say more?

It's not about the love of a boy, but really about learning to love yourself and your missteps growing up. Really, the Finn/Rachel relationship is nothing more than two kids not knowing what they are doing. Or, as Britney would say it" Rachel is "[I'm] Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman."

And really, who needs adult contemporary ballad mumbo-jumbo when she could have just proclaimed her love with the ultra-sexy "Boys"? Why? Because sometimes a girl just needs one. And really Rachel needs Finn.

Taylor Swift Won't Complain About Being Famous: The MTV News Quote Of The Day

"I felt like performing VMAs was the best way to go out there and sing how I was actually feeling. Being there really helped put all that behind me. There's nothing that hard about [being famous]. It's not that tough. I'm not complaining."

-Crossover country-pop superstar Taylor Swift, talking about her powerful and much-talked-about performance at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. Swift took the stage at the VMAs in Los Angeles for a run through a new song called "Innocent" that inspired a great deal of chatter online about its lyrics and focus, with most people agreeing that the tune appeared to be about Kanye West.

"Innocent" will be appearing on Swift's soon-to-be-released new album Speak Now, which contains 14 new songs, each of which is about a different person in Swift's life. It's a bold move in a more deeply personal direction for Swift, but she feels extremely good about the new songs. "I've written all the songs on it about things that have happened over the last two years, and a lot has happened over the last two years. It's been every eventful, a lot of adventures and misadventures," Swift told Fox News. "I have a lot of fun doing this and getting to write songs about what happens in my life, but putting it all out there in your music — all the details — you're taking a chance with that because you are very vulnerable."

Speak Now will be available worldwide on October 25, with pre-orders (including for the deluxe edition, which features three extra tracks, a trio of remixes and a load of video content) available right now.

What Do Justin Bieber And The Situation Have In Common?

What do Justin Bieber and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino have in common?

An unadulterated hatred for an expansive vocabulary. And I'm right there with them. I mean, why use so many different words when you can express yourself with just one?

For Biebs, it's about smiling and for The Situation, it's about, well, the situation.

As a loyal Twitter follower of both Biebs and Situation, their love for these words has rubbed off on me. So much so that it's even infiltrated my daily life.

Take, for example, this snippet from a recent email to a love interest of mine

"Because when you smile, I smile, we smile. Are you still smiling? Because I'm still smiling. So if you're still smiling, that means we're smiling. That makes me smile. And when I smile, you smile."

And this snippet from an email to a former love interest:

"Situationally speaking, there's a situation in situation nation because when you mess with The Situation, then I've got a situation with that situation. And that's the situation."

See? Using just one word to express your every thought is mesmerizing, repetitive, mesmerizing, slightly addictive and mesmerizing. And we all know what that spells, right? A smash hit!
We've seen it before. Remember Freak Nasty's "Da Dip"? It featured 62 mentions of the word "dip." Remember R. Kelly's unforgettable "Trapped in the Closet"? It featured 17 mentions of the word "closet."

When something works, you go with it and that's why I recommend that Justin Bieber's next huge collabo be with The Situation. We already know The Situation can rap and we definitely know Bieber likes collaborating with rappers. So why not combine forces, double their lyrical capabilities and create a situation the whole world can smile about (especially those with limited grasps of the English language)?

What do you think about a potential Situation/Bieber collabo? What would their song be called? Share your thoughts in the comments!

Lady Gaga Wears A Human Hair Dress

While it's no meat dress, Lady Gaga's human hair outfit shows that, much like Picasso before her, Gaga has evolved into her next artistic period. Gaga tweeted about the club getup, writing, "Lonely dreams+champagne streams, plaza courtyards, I can't swim among them, so ill drink instead a star."

(If you need a better shot of the dress, EW.com has one or two! Feast your eyes!)

This is hardly the first time Gaga has had the Internet abuzz about one of her choice looks. In fact, pretty much from the moment she urged the world to "Just Dance," she's been managing to make everyone scratch their heads about what she'll do next in the wacky wardrobe department.

She wore hair on her dress at an event last fall -- her first brush with the look, we assume. And then who could forget that time that Gaga wore a dress made solely of Kermit the Frog puppets?

Of course, that meat dress that Gaga wore to the VMAs wasn't the singer's first time she's donned jerky style. She wore a similar look on the cover of Vogue Hommes Japan. And it appears that Gaga is sort of a foodie. She once wore a lobster hat of sorts. She's also worn reindeer ears.

Only gaga could don red latex when meeting the Queen of England! Speaking of being a lady in red, who could forget that sort of creepy look she rocked at the VMAs last year, when she accepted her Best New Artist Moonman? Red lace masks are definitely nightmarish!

Justin Bieber's Totally Boring Tour Rider: 10 Ways To Spice It Up

Somewhat disappointingly, Justin Bieber's tour rider—which the folks at the Smoking Gun procured Thursday (September 30)—is a rather staid affair ... no steadfast requests for animal-print throw pillows or "late model" Maybachs, just a lot of white T-shirts and "one large package of Swedish Fish" (or, if in Canada, something called "Big Foots.")

Basically, it is perhaps the most boring rider of all time, which could be viewed as proof that Bieber hasn't let fame go to his head ... or that he just isn't very imaginative.

Because, seriously, JB, you are the biggest 'tween star on the planet. You are mobbed everywhere you go, you sell out arenas in minutes, you have tremendous hair and above-average basketball skills. There is a line of dolls made in your likeness. The world is your oyster, and your tour rider should really reflect that. Shoot, at least ask for oysters (and a shucker).

So, we decided to step in and help. Here's a list of appropriately insane demands that can elevate your next tour rider to superstar status. You can thank us later by barring us from the backstage area. It's what people in your position generally tend to do.

10,000 Susan B. Anthony coins, in a sack with a "$" printed on it.

 Kim Kardashian.

If show takes place in a city with an NBA team, exactly one player from said team, who must get down on his knees and let Bieber dunk on him. In a pinch, a representative from city's WNBA franchise will suffice.

A brand new BMX bike without training wheels, since Bieber is a big boy now.

One tiger. Preferrably Bengal.

A Nintendo with all the games.

A golden calf, with which to blaspheme.

A Smith & Wesson tactical rifle, to hunt the most dangerous prey of all: man.

A barrel filled with Pop Rocks and Diet Coke, a mallet to smash the barrel, and 1,000 feet of drop cloth to shield Bieber and crew from resulting explosions (Note: drop cloth could be same one used in Gallagher show last month).

A mom who will let Bieber stay up late, since Jayden Smith doesn't have to go to bed until 10 o'clock. Even on school nights.

'The Social Network' Is Well-Liked At Friday Box Office

The ubiquitous social-networking site Facebook has mushroomed into a global pop-culture phenomenon, since the site launched in 2004. So, perhaps it's not too surprising that the flick "The Social Network," which is based on the rise of the social-media juggernaut, found a huge audience at the box office. The much-anticipated film, featuring performances from Web-averse leading lad Jessie Eisenberg and pop hitmaker-turned-thespian Justin Timberlake, opened Friday with $8 million.

"Network" kicked last week's box-office winner, "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps," down to second place. The long-awaited sequel to the Oliver Stone-helmed 1987 stock-market tale rang up roughly $3.3 million in ticket sales. The numbers from Friday's box-office showing bumped the Michael Douglas and Shia LaBeouf vehicle's total estimated haul to just over $29 million.

The Ben Affleck-directed bank-robber pic "The Town" continues to clean up at the box office. Entering its third week in theaters, the Boston-based heist jaunt racked up a little over $3 million on Friday. The weekend-kickoff tally brings the film's domestic gross to roughly $57 million since its mid-September release.

"Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole" began its second-week run in fourth place. Featuring voice-over performances from big-name stars such as Helen Mirren, and boasting stunning CG work, the family-friendly flick picked up $2.6 million. The film has made nearly $22 million in theaters.

Heaving with hormones and high-school humiliation, "Easy A" remains a strong pick among moviegoers. The Emma Stone starrer rounds out the top five with nearly $2.3 million. "A" is inching toward a total estimated haul of $38 million.

Rutgers Students Talk Digital Abuse After Tyler Clementi's Death

Although digital abuse and cyberbullying have been ongoing issues among young people, the recent wave of suicides by gay teens who have been subjected to harassment because of their sexuality has brought renewed focus to the problems.

In particular, the tragic death of Rutgers University student Tyler Clementi, who took his own life after a classmate allegedly taped him in secret during a gay sexual encounter and posted the video online, has shocked and saddened many and highlighted the potentially traumatic effects of digital taunting.

In the wake of Clementi's death, MTV News asked many Rutgers students how they believe cyberbullying can be eradicated. Several young people suggested that because digital spaces such as Facebook and MySpace are primarily used for social purposes, users typically don't consider the consequences their online communication may have.

"I think the community should be more aware of cyberbullying because I don't think people take it seriously," Cassie Guadalupe said. "People don't take Facebook that seriously but when your business is out there, especially when its public like Facebook and MySpace, it should be brought to people's attention because ... as you can see it can really affect people."

Amanda Murillo agreed that many social-network users don't take into account the harmful implications of posting something snarky, gossipy or cruel on the Web.

"We don't put a lot of attention into cyberbullying because people think, 'Oh, it's the internet. It's just something that someone said on Facebook, it's not that big of a deal.' When someone else is reading that online and you're breaking someone's heart online ... it's destroying people's lives," she said. "I've been cyberbullied before and I know exactly how bad it feels. People are just trying to sweep it under the rug like cyberbullying isn't that big of an issue."

Erin Simon has also been the victim of digital abuse but, fortunately, she was able to resolve the issue before the situation spiraled out of control.
"I've actually been involved in cyberbullying. I wasn't the person that was saying the stuff, I was actually receiving it from the individual, and it's just not a thing that I would want any kid to go through. Luckily, I was able to find out who it was and talk to the right people to get it figured out," Simon said. "But cyberbullying, I would not want anyone to go through that experience. It's a horrible feeling and your self-esteem goes down and really it's just no different than teasing and horribly harassing someone in person."

Ethan Lu suggested that because of the increasingly swift advances in social media, young people haven't taken into account the detrimental effects of sending hostile messages online.

"We haven't caught up with the technology," he said. "Technology grows exponentially and I guess our behavior has yet to catch up."

Scott maintains that regardless of how one chooses to communicate, users must be mindful of others' feelings.

"I think that it is everyone's problem to address how we're interacting online and how we're treating one another in person as well."

How do you think we can combat cyberbullying? Let us know in the comments!

'Mean Girls' 's Jonathan Bennett Declares 'Love Is Louder' Than Hate

Besides boasting breakout performances from then rising stars Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams and Amanda Seyfried, the 2004 flick "Mean Girls" is arguably a teen classic because it deftly embodies the politics of snarky and sometimes nasty cliques generations of high-schoolers have had to navigate.

Onscreen, actor Jonathan Bennett played the heartthrob boy toy of reigning "Mean Girl" Regina George (portrayed by McAdams). However, in real life, Bennett has said he's very familiar with being on the receiving end of hurtful taunts. He recently uploaded a Love Is Louder video to Your.MTV.com letting young people know that even if you're dealing with the homeroom hate of a million Regina Georges, things will get better.

"Of all people, I know how mean people can be to each other. I mean, we made a whole movie about it," Bennett quips in his clip. "It happened to me in high school, it happened to me in college [and] it still happens to me today. And I'm not gonna lie, it sucks. Sometimes it really sucks. But it doesn't have to forever because there are people out there who love you, and love is a lot louder than hate."

Actress Torrey DeVitto, who has appeared in TV's high-school clique-fest "Pretty Little Liars," also uploaded a video in which she admits "I know what it's like to be disrespected and mentally abused." However, like Bennett, she maintains that love will win out over petty hate.

Bennett and DeVitto are just the latest to share their words of encouragement via the Love Is Louder project. An initiative organized by MTV, actress Brittany Snow and the Jed Foundation, with support from DoSomething.org, the Trevor Project, Reach Out, Active Minds and the Ad Council, Love Is Louder aims to inspire and empower young people who may be lacking hope in the face of bullying.

For more information on Love Is Louder, visit the project's Facebook page. You can also upload videos to Your.MTV.com, just like Bennett, DeVitto, Snow and Vinny Guadagnino did. You can also keep the conversation going on Twitter by using the hashtag #loveislouder.

Kanye West Unleashes His 'Christian Dior Denim Flow'

For this week's G.O.O.D. Friday offering, Fashion Week-lover Kanye West sent out a club banger for the model types in the building.

On "Christian Dior Denim Flow" the style-conscious MC opens his latest star-studded cut — John Legend, Kid Cudi, Lloyd Banks, Pusha T, Ryan Leslie make appearances — rattling off shout-outs to some of fashion's high-profile runway stars.

However, the arrival of the track about smooth model chicks, which was released Saturday (October 2),was fraught with drama. On Monday, 'Ye tweeted about the track's creation, typing, "In the studio with Kid Cudi, Ryan Leslie, John Legend" and dropped hints about the content. However, on Wednesday, West went off on hackers who swiped some of his unfinished music and canceled the release of this week's song. But by Friday 'Ye had a change of heart and decided to keep the G.O.O.D. Friday initiative going "for the real hip hop fans."

The joint kicks off with the command "All the models to the floor right now, all the models to the floor right now," and 'Ye follows with "I'm in my Christian Dior with a Veronica Webb," referencing the '90s supermodel. The fashion-show fixture drops lines like "Make a phone call, out to Joan Smalls" and spits about seeing "if Jessica Stam got the stamina." West also mentions fashion faces from Dutch Victoria Secret vixen Doutzen Kroes to leggy Canadian phenom Coco Rocha.

While 'Ye showcases his exhaustive knowledge of some of the world's famed beauties, the Legend-helmed chorus suggests the song's protagonist needs a lady who's more than just arm candy.

"I got the world in my hands, the master plan/But I don't know why I keep calling," Legend belts. "All of these girls in my shows, they lovin' me/But I don't know why I keep calling, why I keep calling you."

Push enters with lyrics about chopping it up with a potential hookup, starting his verse with "Miami nights on the search for some T and A." The Virginia spitter then follows up with bars about his MTV Video Music Award appearance with Yeezy.

"We conversate a bit about your DNA/And my salmon-colored suit from the VMAs/Oh, you was watching, who the f--- wasn't?" Push cheekily questions.

The vocals pause for a percussion-heavy breakdown and then pick up for a brief a cappella refrain. As the chorus peters out, producer and singer Ryan Leslie takes his hand at the mic, spitting a few bars while the beat woozily slows down.

"It's time for a lesson in model behavior/Damn, look at all the bad bitches I gave you/Man, I can see the flaws to your flavor/Look like Wonder Woman and still need a savior," Leslie rhymes.

Banks is up next, dropping lines like "He ain't Kraft material, champagne for cereal/Shorty stole my heart, criminal, my lucky charm," presumably lamenting a failed relationship.
Cudi closes with the track with lyrics about his lacing his lady with Chanel and keeping suspect characters at bay.

"Bitches better have they thoughts before approaching/I done heard it all, baby, save it for them other n----s," wrapping up his verse with "Haters, copy, I'm the image."

Lady Gaga lost her grandfather!

On Friday, September 24 died a grandfather Lady Gaga Joseph Germanotta, σε ηλικία 88 ετών.

Δύο μέρες νωρίτερα η Gaga had visited the nursing home , wearing black clothes , very high heels and a diamond choker neck. Next to Gaga, to console this weekend , was the friend (according to tabloids partner ) Carl Luke.

In concert in Nottingham , England last May, Lady Gaga had spoken to her beloved grandfather , who was already ill , and had devoted part of 'Speechless'

The changed Xtina!

Very different in appearance indicates the Christina Aguilera, Photographed last Sunday, September 26 at an event County Museum of Art in Los Angeles.

Little overweight , slightly increasing the chest , a little excessive solarium and make-up the Xtina not only does not resemble anything of the girl 'Ginnie in a Bottle' (1999) , but even the cover of 'Bionic' (2010).
